Merchant & Seller Agreement
The current rules for opening and operating a Pretali store, publishing Sclips, accepting orders and receiving payouts.
Last updated: September 6, 2026
1. Seller eligibility and verification
Sellers must provide accurate identity/contact information, dispatch address, country, store details and a supported payout destination. Pretali may require email, phone, identity, business, tax, product-authenticity or address verification. Approval and continued access may depend on country, payment-provider and legal availability.
2. Early-access seller plans
Planned early-access pricing is shown in INR and may change before paid subscriptions launch. Any future price or plan change will be communicated where required.

Team-member functionality is not yet available. Plan limits do not promise verification badges, search placement, recommendation priority, sales, views or earnings.
3. Marketplace and payment fees
Each calendar month, the platform fee is 0% while the seller remains below both 50 completed orders and 150,000 INR in completed product sales. Once either threshold is reached, the current platform fee is 1% of product subtotal, with a minimum fee of 1 unit of the order currency. The current payment-processing calculation is 2%. Shipping, taxes, customs, refunds, chargebacks and provider charges may apply separately and should be shown before confirmation where applicable.
4. Seller currency and international payments
A seller selects an allowed settlement currency based on the registered country. New listings, shipping charges, orders, balances and withdrawals preserve that currency. Currency becomes locked after the first active listing or order unless Pretali performs a controlled migration.
- Eligible orders use a supported payment provider and transaction currency.
- If a buyer funds an order in another currency, the buyer's provider controls conversion rates and fees.
- Provider and country restrictions may make a transaction unavailable.
5. Listings, Sclips and moderation
Sellers must accurately describe price, condition, stock, origin, materials, variants, shipping, returns and material limitations. Automated risk checks may approve low-risk listings or hold them for administrator review. Pretali may remove or restrict prohibited, unsafe, counterfeit, infringing, deceptive or unlawful content. See the Prohibited Items Policy and Community Guidelines.
6. Orders, inventory and fulfilment
Sellers must maintain accurate stock, dispatch within the stated timeframe, package goods safely, provide valid tracking, and deliver only through lawful serviceable routes. A seller offering worldwide shipping is responsible for accurate cross-border shipping charges, customs descriptions, restricted-goods rules and destination requirements.
7. Returns, disputes and buyer protection
The selected return policy is displayed to buyers, but cannot remove mandatory consumer rights. Sellers must cooperate with valid cancellation, return, counterfeit, damage, misdescription and non-delivery investigations. Pretali may review listings, messages, tracking and evidence and may hold settlement while a case is unresolved. See the Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy.
8. Balance, escrow and payouts
Paid-order funds are held while fulfilment, delivery and the applicable return window remain unresolved. Available seller balance is product subtotal minus applicable platform fees; gateway and other charges are recorded separately as displayed by the service. Balances are never added across currencies.
- Sellers may configure an eligible payout destination supported for their country and account.
- The payout destination is locked after setup to reduce payout fraud.
- Withdrawal requests require administrator approval and may be manually settled.
- Payout can be delayed or rejected for unresolved orders, returns, disputes, fraud, sanctions, chargebacks, verification or legal obligations.
9. Affiliate content
Sellers/creators are responsible for valid destination URLs, disclosures, product claims and compliance with each external merchant's affiliate terms. Pretali does not control the external merchant's availability, price, checkout, fulfilment, return process or commission decision.
10. Suspension, termination and account deletion
Pretali may restrict features, listings or accounts proportionately for policy, safety, fraud or legal reasons and may preserve necessary evidence. Funds are not automatically forfeited. Legitimate refunds, chargebacks, fees, legal holds and amounts owed may be deducted or held. Sellers can delete an account after active orders, returns and payouts are resolved; required transaction records may be retained in anonymised or restricted form.
11. Support and changes
Questions or appeals can be sent to support@pretali.com. Material changes should be dated and communicated before they take effect where law requires.
